Compassion Christian Center Programs:
Altar

The Men's Ministry at Compassion Christian Center focuses on the armor of God—to live righteously and be the men God made us to be. Take a look at the activities currently underway; all men are invited to participate.

Weekly Bible Study

Description: The Men's Ministry meets weekly for a bible study called "Let's Get Real" facilitated by Wray Goodwin. All men are invited! Learning, acknowledging our faults one to another, and praying for deliverance is the essence of the study.

Dates: Fourth Saturday of each month

Time: 8-9AM

Location: Church fellowship hall

Monthly Men's Breakfast

Description: The fourth Saturday of each month we have a men-only breakfast at the church. Biblical principles are discussed along with music and a time of fellowship. Men of all ages are encouraged to join us (no children, please).

Dates: Fourth Saturday of each month

Time: 9-10AM

Location: Church fellowship hall

Cost: No cost (a free will offering will be taken)

Men's Ministry Outdoor Activities

Description: All are invited to participate in Men's Ministry hunting, fishing and camping activities. We pursue big game and small game with the spiritual understanding that God is our provider. Hunter/Safety classes and respect for private property are taught. We eat what we hunt, pursue conservation, and do not advocate killing for fun. Fishing in both urban and state lakes are also regular activities for the entire family. As Jesus took fisherman and made them "fishers of men," we too seek to share the Word of God with all who will hear. Finally, annual desert survival classes and practical training for young men (ages 13 though 18) occur during the early summer months. This teaching promotes a greater understanding that God is in control; He is our provider and comforter.

Outreach

Description: The Compassion Christian Center Men's Ministry is currently coordinating to help build a church in Nogales, Mexico. This new church needs laborers specializing in brick, wood and drywalling—but all workers are welcome! Please contact the church for more information or to get involved.

Finally, the men of Compassion Christian Church support and attend Promise Keepers -- stay tuned for more information about our activities in this area.
